Fisquield (the squirrel pokemon)

Fisquield, the squirrel pokemon, is a grass fighting type, and has a very skittish personality. Fisquield are very high in the attack stat but relatively low in the defensive stats. Later, it evolves into fistentium, and it's tail splits in two to become fist like weapons. Fistentium gains a whole whack of speed after it has evolved, and it's attacks are a lot more powerful. Fisquield uses the naturally large fists that it has as a sort of boxing glove, to hit foes and then scamper away. It is one on the main tactics it uses, and enables it to use the bug type move U-turn. It learns moves such as drain punch, Mach punch, and tail slap.

Development Update #1

I thought I would post a Development Update so you all knew my progress on the game.  In the first Build released you will have the chance to walk around "kirsidy Town". Kirsidy town is the first town where you will be able to choose your starter pokemon. I Can't say you will be able to battle rival, but if thats not in this build it will be in build 2. I made a main laucher screen today as well. - Matthew

Arbrong (colossal tree pokemon)

Arbrong, the colossal tree pokemon, is the final stage of evolution of beebling, the grass starter pokemon. After evolving from sablung, it grows many more leaves, it's leaf hands grow into large stumps, and it's feet grow spikes. It's attack stat is maintained, and it's defense rises drastically, as bark covers its entire body.

Revitzron, Aquanex, and Grostem, the legendary trio.

These three pokemon are considered to be the independent protectors of Skylin's pokemon. They all occupy an area suiting its type, as Revitzron, the fire type, lives in Teradon volcano, Aquanex, the water type, resides in the depths of Lake Lentron, and Grostem, the grass type, resides in Wenpren Forest. These pokemon have saved many lives of many pokemon during the attack of team void when Zetrix and Veytron lifted the region into the sky. Grostem helped the land living pokemon find shelter, Aquanex helped the ocean dwellers into Skylin's lakes, and Revitzron helped the hotter climate pokemon onto stable land. The pokemon of Skylin have always been safe because of these three pokemon.

Revitzron is generally powerful in the special attack stat, Aquanex is high in the speed stat, and Grostem is generally physically offensive. -Elliott  

Artillerimp (the pistol shrimp pokemon)

Artillerimp, the pistol shrimp pokemon, is a unique pokemon, as it is the only known pokemon to be a water/fire hybrid. Artillerimp often live in groups of 5-7 and can be spotted in small caves and grottoes. When distressed, they can fire a bolt of water from their tail cannon that can reach the temperature of the surface of the sun. This unique defense mechanism is useful, as it can knock predators out in an instant. It later evolves into pistolob, and will grow claws, and it will generally become larger and better in all stats. Artillerimp and pistolob can use moves such as scald, hydro pump, and flamethrower. -Elliott

Dharmini (the balance pokemon)

Dharmini, the balance pokemon, keeps the entire universe in balance, and without this pokemon, the world would enter an age where time and space are easily bent. Dharmini is often referred to as a god, as it does have mystical powers, but unlike most godly figures, we are certain that this pokemon exists. It created Zetrix and Veytron, the two protectors of Skylin, and also the trio known as Revitzron, Aquanex, and Grostem. Dharmini is essential to the world, and without it, time and space would begin to fall apart. Dharmini resides in Tebalon cave, but not many try to get to the final chamber, and not very many people have gotten close to Dharmini, even if they do make it and take a few photographs. Dharmini is an electric/dark hybrid, and learns moves such as thunder punch, fusion bolt, and dark pulse. It is very strong in the special attack stat and is balanced in all the other stats. -Elliott

The legend of zetrix and veytron

Zetrix and Veytron, two opposite beings. Zetrix, coming from the depths of Tentalon canyon, and Veytron, coming from the peak of Retalex mountain. Neither ever laid an eye on each other. Their lairs were opposites, their personalities were opposites. Until one day the island of Skylin was surrounded by people, as far as the eye could see. All dressed in pure black suits. Everyone knew what they were. They were team void, a band of evildoers who were set on conquering the entire world. Two mysterious heroes emerged from the darkness. Inhabitants of Skylin, they were abyss and zephyr. They both called their partners to their sides, and for the first time in millennia, Zetrix and Veytron had shown themselves. Abyss and Zephyr commanded Zetrix and Veytron to lift the island of Skylin into the sky, and emerging from the seas came the island, rocketing towards the sky. The island was never seen again, because it lies above the clouds, hidden from any threat ever again. If team void ever shall emerge on the mystical floating island of Skylin, it shall be safe, as we know that Zetrix and Veytron will be there to protect it. -Elliott

Popurupt (living magma Pokemon)

Popurupt is part of a very different evolutionary line Papilav the stage 1 form being just fire and Volcatrium being fire/ steel. Popurupt is a Fire/ground pokemon who normally live in temperatures of  700° C to 1200° C. Being ground and fire means Popurupt is a target for water pokemon for sure.

Sablung (Sapling Pokemon)

Sablung, The Sapling pokemon is the evolution of Beebling (Beebling is the grass type starter) who was based of seed. Sablung is based off a Sabling, and the final evolutionary form Arbrong is based off a large tree. Just like Beebling This pokemon is very strong in the physical attack stat, and overall his stats inprove when he evolves. When Beebling Evolves into Sablung his tail branch splits in 2 to make arms his top leafs all to grow taller, and hes wood interior is exposed. The brown bark gives more defense as well. - Matthew

Hey guys Matt here I posted a Utube video of me drawing one of the pokemon I sprited Zephinch. Its a little off from Elliotts original drawing but I think its pretty cool I also added  Zephinch to the pokemon page cause It officially has a sprite.

Frostix (ice crystal pokemon)

Frostix, the ice crystal pokemon, was created when immense pressure pressed on large chunks of ice, making the ice practically invulnerable. Frostix's body can reach temperatures as low as -90 degrees celcius, and will use this advantage to freeze enemies in their tracks to prevent motion. Frostix evolves into crystum later, giving it more power and an even lower body temperature. Crystum is known for grouping together and making an emulation of winter even in August. This causes nearby towns and cities to consider them pests, although very strong even individually. Frostix and crystum can learn several moves such as frost breath, icy wind, and ice beam.

Flitby (firefly pokemon)

Flitby, the firefly pokemon, is unique because of its typing. Being a bug-electric type, it can fire bolts of electricity from the bulb on its tail. It's tail can shine in many different colours, and will send messages to other flitby showing distress, happiness, and other emotions. Flitby evolves into lumuzz later in its life and gains size, and wing length, as well as increased speed and other stats. Flitby and lumuzz often know moves like flash, thundershock, thunderbolt, and bug buzz. -Elliott

Zephinch (bird pokemon)

Zephinch is a small bird that is insanely fast. It can fly at speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour (50 mph) despite its rather small body. The reason that zephinch can fly at these speeds are because the air that it exhales actually is concentrated and comes out of it as jet propulsion through its wings. Zephinch is not usually prey for other pokemon, as it is amazing at escapes. Zephinch evolves into quaizip, which can fly considerably faster, and can attack a lot stronger. The final evolution, sliztor, can fly at approximately 200 kilometers per hour and is a fearsome foe to take on. All of these pokemon are normal- flying type, and you find it on the first route in the game. It can learn moves such as peck, wing attack, and hurricane. -Elliott

Puddip (water type starter)

Puddip, the living water droplet, is very unique, as it has the ability to control water and expand its body using the water, and fire water, reducing its body size. Later on in its lifespan, puddip evolves into rippond, and it grows blades on its arms, giving it a deadly weapon, and enabling it to learn moves such as slash. The final stage of evolution is neptiller, which is based off of Neptune, the roman god of the sea, and saying that, you can already tell how powerful neptiller can get. It wields a trident as neptiller which it can use as a fighting tool. It can use moves such as water gun, scald, and slash. It gains the dark type after evolving into rippond, and will keep it as it evolves into neptiller. -Elliott

Papilav (fire type starter)

Papilav, the fire starter is a unique pokemon indeed. With each separate evolution, it gains a new type. As papilav, it is a pure fire type. As popurupt, the second evolution, it is a fire/ground hybrid, and the final form, volcatrium, is a fire/steel hybrid. As popurupt, you will need to look out for water types twice as much, because it is afflicted by water type moves at a 4x rate. Papilav is based on a living flow of lava, with a steel ring around its neck, but the steel type is not acquired until its final evolution. This pokemon will be able to use moves such as lava plume, flamethrower, and eruption. -Elliott

Beebling (grass type starter)

Beebling, the seedling pokemon, is the grass starter pokemon of this region. It is based off the concept of a seedling, and it's evolutions are sablung, based off a sapling, and arbrong, based off a large tree. This pokemon is very strong in the physical attack stat, and uses moves such as seed bomb, wood hammer (wood hammer is only learned by arbrong), and leech seed. It is a pure grass type when you receive it and as it evolves into sablung, but after you evolve it into arbrong, it becomes a grass/ghost hybrid. -Elliott

Welcome to our blog about our new pokemon fan games, pokemon abyss, and pokemon zephyr. First off, I guess I will introduce the region. The region in which abyss and zephyr take place is the skylin region, the region of legend, that floats above the clouds, and many unique pokemon thrive and prosper. The region was once a large Island located in the southern sea of kanto, but it is said, that a legendary pokemon lifted the island into the sky to protect it from an imminent threat, team void. I guess that's all for now, but I will be releasing more info such as the starters and legendary pokemon, etc. - Elliott
